STEPS:
1. Check your firmware version by clicking on "Status" link of "Settings/Review" webpage upon activating "Settings/Review" function of FLUCARD® PRO. If it is less than Version 3.42_100R, please continue to step 2, else updating of firmware is not required.
2. Backup all the data in your FLUCARD® PRO.
3. Download the latest Firmware Upgrade.
4. Plug the FLUCARD® PRO into the SD card slot of your PC. Wait for about 15-20 seconds.
5. Extract and Copy all files from the zip package into your FLUCARD® PRO.
6. Eject and plug the FLUCARD® PRO into your camera. Switch on your camera.
7. You will hear a low buzz followed by intermittent beeps indicating that the upgrade is in progress.
8. Upon completion of upgrade, beepings will stop. The firmware upgrade files will also be deleted automatically.
9. Off the camera. Plug out the card and plug it in again before switching your camera back on.
10. Check for control images to confirm that the Firmware is updated.

- Patch for Blurred Control Images reported in some Nikon cameras
STEPS:
1. Download the firmware patch.
2. Insert Flucard to SD slot of your PC.
3. Extract and Copy all files from the zip package into your FLUCARD® PRO.
4. Eject the card and insert it into the camera.
5. Power on the camera and wait for around 20 seconds.
6. Eject and reinsert the card into the camera. You should not see the files anymore.
7. Format the card. After formatting completes, you will hear intermittent beeps (for about 30 secs), during which the control images are being restored.
8. Check for control images to confirm that the new control images are updated.
What is FLUCARD® PRO?
FLUCARD® PRO is a SD card with WIFI transmission capabilities. Beside storage capability, it has the ability to allow other WIFI devices and cameras (equipped with FLUCARD® PRO) to access, share files among SD hosts devices and upload contents directly to smart cloud.
How do I activate FLUCARD® PRO functions?
FLUCARD® PRO functions can be activated by i) using DELETE button of the camera, ii) DPOF or iii) MOTION SHAKE (2 shakes for sender mode, 3 shakes for server upload).
Is FLUCARD® PRO compatible with my camera?
FLUCARD® PRO is tested compatible with many of today’s popular cameras. Please refer to the compatibility list for more information.
Why are my control images not refreshed after restarting my camera?
Please reinsert FLUCARD® PRO into the camera and restart the camera.
Can I access the contents of my FLUCARD® PRO if my PC is using a wired network connection?
Yes. you can do so by:
1. Using an external WIFI dongle.
2. Via router. Email us at support@trek2000.com.sg for more information.
Why does FLUCARD® PRO in sender mode continue to beep even when the transmission has completed?
When in Sender mode, the FLUCARD® PRO is capable of sending contents to multiple FLUCARD® PRO in receiver mode. Therefore, it is constantly waiting to connect to FLUCARD® PRO in receiver mode and continues to beep. Please restart your camera to stop the beeping.
Can I send the contents in FLUCARD® PRO selectively?
You can use the DPOF method to select the contents that you want to send (Refer to the Manual) or you can buy a FluCard Download App from the respective authorized portals.
I cannot find the DPOF section in my camera. Do all cameras have a DPOF?
Not all cameras have DPOF. Refer to your camera’ s user manual to check if your camera has DPOF. If it does not, please purchase a FluCard Download App from the respective authorized portals to facilitate selective download of contents.
Does my FLUCARD® PRO work only with cameras?
The FLUCARD® PRO is designed to work with most cameras, video cameras, digital photo frames and all SD hosts devices. The FLUCARD® PRO will replace your SD card while offering you the ability to transfer photos and videos wirelessly from your camera. Please email us at support@trek2000.com.sg if the FLUCARD® does not work with your camera.
Which OS can FLUCARD® PRO work with?
FLUCARD® PRO works with iOS, Mac OS, Windows, Android OS and BlackBerry OS.
What are the available storage capacities of the FLUCARD® PRO?
The 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models are available.
What is the SD class of FLUCARD® PRO?
FLUCARD® PRO supports SDHC Class 6.
Can I upgrade my FLUCARD® PRO with a new firmware?
Yes, the FLUCARD® PRO is scalable and upgradable. Just download the latest firmware in this page.
How many connections can I establish with the FLUCARD® PRO?
FLUCARD® PRO is able to connect with up to 5 wireless devices.
Is the WIFI transmission secure?
Yes. FLUCARD® PRO’s transmission supports WEP 64/128, WPA/WPA2 encryptions.
Does FLUCARD® PRO work in environments with a lot of WIFI signals?
Yes, FLUCARD® PRO still works in such an environment. You can also change the WIFI channel number (from 1 to 11, default is channel 6) if the particular channel is congested.
Why does the FLUCARD® become warm after usage?
This is the inherent problem of WIFI but it will not result in overheating and cause damages to your camera.
Does FLUCARD® PRO reduce the number of photos or videos I can take with my camera?
FLUCARD® PRO works exactly like an SD card and more.
Why do I need to upgrade my firmware to 3.30_100R and above to use the current web portal?
Unlike the previous web portal that used FTP protocol for uploading of contents, the current web portal uses HTTP protocol. Upgrading of FLUCARD® PRO is necessary to support server upload via HTTP protocol. However, uploading of contents via FTP protocol is still supported if you wish to upload contents in FLUCARD® PRO to a FTP server.
Which server upload protocols are supported for firmware version 3.30_100R and above?
HTTP protocol, Gallery 3 remote protocol (HTTP based) and FTP protocol are supported.
I formatted my FLUCARD® PRO with my camera and restarted my camera subsequently. The control images were not restored. Why?
After formatting FLUCARD® PRO, FLUCARD® PRO will restore the control images, during which a beeping tone will be played. Please restart the camera only after the beeping tone has ended (around 30 seconds).
Can I use FLUCARD® PRO with compact flash adaptor?
We do not encourage the use of FLUCARD® PRO with compact flash adaptor.
